Well I had some winners the first week and of course losers.
My big winner in the pros was calling the Chargers victory both SU and ATS. The Jets are having a hard time adjusting to Favre and vice versa. Also I would like to make an apology to ALL pigs everywhere for equating them to a Jets player.

My losers were the Pats who lost outright to the Dolphins. I can only imagine what Belichick said to his players after that horrible defensive showing. The Patriots defenders are looking very long in the tooth !

My other loser against the spread was the Giants. I have been a Giants fan long enough to know that for some reason we are better on the road than at home and that was an a lot of points to give the Bengals for the Giants playing at home. Well I plan on doing much better this week !!

There are a few games this week that really stand out for me as being good plays.

In College –
Penn St. covered easily.
Missouri won be double digits but not by the pointspread, likewise for South Florida.
Purdue didn’t cover the number and neither did Ohio State.
My underdog Kent St. lost by the number to Louisiana-Lafayette.
I know I can do better than this so stay tuned for my college picks this week.
