Liz’s College Picks – 9/25/08
I have some college games that I really like starting with
California. After losing to Maryland 2 weeks ago, I’m guessing
that Cal will come out and take control of this game early.
Cal will cover the 26.5 point spread against Colorado State.
LSU will beat Mississippi State by the 24.5 point spread.
What I don’t understand is that LSU has an 8-0 streak going
against Miss. St. and that is both SU and ATS. AND LSU
is averaging almost a 40 point margin of victory.
Like most of gamblers have said “You can only lose once in a streak”
And just an interesting stat I came across.
Did you know that USC has not beaten Oregon State by more than 24 points
in the past 10 meetings. Then why are they giving Oregon State 26 points ??
And just like last week I am on the Penn State bandwagon sittin’ right next to JoPa
learning from an icon of NCAA football. So Penn State is home hosting Illinois and spotting them 15 points. I’ll take the home team to cover that number.
Other picks I am leaning towards are
New Mexico State with the 3.5 points at home against New Mexico. (My underdog play)
Oregon to cover the 21points on the road against Washington State.
Note – Washington State has lost their first two starting QBs for the season.
I also like UNLV to cover the 4 point spread at home against Nevada.
And just because the line is under 3TDs and KSU is home.
I like Kansas State to cover the 20.5 point spread against Louisiana Lafayette.
Good Luck and as always bet with your head and not above it.
