Week 14 Recap – (Last week of College)
Well, once again I had another stellar week in college as my best bets went 3-1 ATS and my pro picks also went 3-1. In my Florida pick this week I actually called the Florida/Oklahoma BCS title game, and that’s not too shabby. I’m really happy about that pick. Now it’s time to study the bowl matchups as the regular college season is now sadly over. There are also only 3 weeks left in the NFL regular season so things should start to heat up for the teams fighting for their playoff lives and those who are just waiting for the regular season to come to an end.
This week I went
In the Pros ATS 3-1 and SU 4-0
(I also gave my opinion as to why to lay off the Vikings and Giants games, both were ATS losers.) My over/under picks were an imperfect 0-3 ATS, as they were close to going over but just didn’t get there.
In College ATS 8-1 and SU 9-0, and I missed going 9-0 ATS by 2 points in the Cincy game.
So to date my stats are
Pros ATS 37-25 and SU 51-11
College ATS 78-59 and SU 97-40
So for my first year doing college I ended up with a 57% mark against the spread and a nice 71% mark straight up. Not bad for my first year doing this.
For all the Bills fans out there, all I can say is, the fat lady is humming loudly.
(Sorry to my friends Sis and Moose and Beaner)
As for all the Giants fans, the Giants looked like the Giants of old. Dropped passes, the defense on the field too long and the offense not on the field long enough. You could say the distractions of this past week truly did affect the Giants, or a scary thought, the Giants are coming back to reality. I sure hope it’s the former and not the latter. How they come out next week against Dallas will certainly give us a better perspective.
I will be getting back to you on Thursday with my pro picks for this week.
Thanks for reading,
Liz

Full disclosure: I admit to being a Patriots Fanatic, but I don’t dislike the Giants. Having said that, I hope my comments do not offend any of the G-men fans.
It has been one of my long held believes that the Giants suck in December; (last year was an exception). I cannot explain, but seems ever December there is a meltdown. Thankfully, this year it will not cost them. They will regroup and be a force to reckon with during the playoffs.
To all you Jets Fans, I respect your team, truly do, it is your coach I dislike, Good Luck.
Sure seems like being a head coach for an Ohio teams is a death sentence.
Lion’s Fans, what’s not to love. You guys are the greatest. Maybe someday soon you will get your reward.
Welcome Miami, we’ve been there, and I know you have to be feeling a lot better this year.
What is that I hear, sure sounds like a sputter coming from the Big D.
And of Course my Patriots. Billy, you have to be the greatest coach of all time. Considering all the challenges you faced, what a year. Our D without Teddy will be like trying to eat corn on the cob without front teeth. Teddy get better, we love ya. Junior, thank you for coming back, you are a rock. Matt, you’ve earned whatever good fortune brings your way; we will miss you, thanks for a great job. And last, but certainly not least, all my respect goes out to Randy Moss who has been a true leader this year. Looking forward to hearing those familiar words next year (Brady steps back, going deep to Moss… TOUCHDOWN!).
